Conscious Empowerment for the Gulf Coast - Native Perspective

~ "What is life? It is the flash of a firefly in the night. It is the breath of a buffalo in the wintertime. It is the little shadow which runs across the grass and loses itself in the sunset."
Crowfoot, Blackfoot warrior and orator ~

And all of the above are threatened when the governing powers that be forget to hold nature in high esteem as provider of all that sustains us on this planet.

The next installment on Conscious Empowerment for the Gulf Coast features Raven Redbone, sharing heartfelt perspective and insight from a Native American viewpoint on the events in the Gulf Coast.

He makes no claim to be the spokesperson for the entire community, rather, he is a contact and connecting and sharing views of wise elders and others who have influenced him and continue to share their wisdom in hopes of creating a greater awareness of the need to create a better bond with nature.

One name he underscores as a hero for conservation efforts is Billy Frank Jr. - Bio., Info., News item.

Greetings to the Natural World

The People

Today we have gathered and we see that the cycles of life continue. We have been given the duty to live in balance and harmony with each other and all living things. So now, we bring our minds together as one as we give greetings and thanks to each other as people.

Now our minds are one.
