Mind over Matter

Every thought counts.

Just a bit of content from Tim Brunson's Newsletter -

"In the early few years of the last decade there were a couple of studies performed at the Harvard Medical School. The first involved the use of guided imagery in conjunction with surgical wound healing. What was indicated was that when hypnosis was used in conjunction with standard, allopathic medical care, wounds healed on average 70% more rapidly. These findings were later replicated in a bone healing study performed by the same institution."

If this is what happens when we focus our intent and pay attention to the result, imagine what is happening as we allow our thoughts and intentions to run amuck?

We are more powerful in our thoughts and imaginings than we have the ability to fathom. Not because we don't want to know, rather, because the brain is not yet advanced enough to compute the reality.

Each day we strive to access that greater inner awareness and work on creating more ways to gather and validate external information on how the world mirrors our intent is a step toward conscious evolution. We, as a collective, are growing our awareness of our innate intuitive abilities from the inside out... each and every being among us is a living work of creation in progress.

Healing comes from within. Where does it start? That answer is bigger than I can compute. One of the great gifts of Shamanism is to participate in events that create personal healing of physical (and psychic) wounds. The problem for science is that the event is different for each individual. There is a supernatural element that we have yet to figure out how to quantify or even allow for the existence of. And, as each case is a work unique to that one individual, the results cannot be replicated.

In my own case, there is no explanation other than to say the injury dissolved. I entered into the event with the intention to open to a higher awareness and allow a greater good to be revealed. I received visions, and guidance, to which I listened and then followed advice I was given.

I had complete trust in the need for the experience and the need for the (whatever it might be) outcome to be the best result for me at that time. The injury/wound healed.

Healing can start wherever we are. Healing, I am... And so we grow.
